For those feeling traumatised or distraught by the violent confrontation at Wellington Oval last Sunday, help is available.
The Ministry of Health and Family Services has arranged for counsellors to be available for anyone who needs to work through this process, especially children, the Ministry announced yesterday.
Appointments can be made by calling 296-7548.
Psychologist Dr. Guy Fowle said there was no single answer for parents whose children might have been traumatised by the spectacle.
Parents should sit down and talk about it with their children, he said, gauging their fears and telling them what to do in that kind of a situation.
