Dog WHisperer Millan meets Bermuda's own Dog Father Fabian...
RENOWNED dog behaviour expert and New York Times best-selling author Cesar Millan is one of the most sought-after specialists working in the field of dog rehabilitation. From bullying Chihuahuas to timid great Danes, the "dog whisperer" has an uncanny gift for communicating with dogs and seeing the world through their eyes.
He has even been dubbed "a Dr. Phil for dogs," and for good reason. His amazing rehabilitations of aggressive, scared, lazy, compulsive and jealous dogs and the families that are usually in the dark about how their own behaviour contributes to the dogs' quirky traits captured the national spotlight when his National Geographic Channel (NGC) series Dog Whisperer premiered in 2004.
Closer to home Fabian Minors, or the "Dog Father", has turned his love of dogs into his occupation two years ago with Bermuda Pet Sitters.
While their owners spend eight hours at work, Mr. Minors takes their canine companions out for lenghty walks and the opportunity to play with other four-legged friends.
Having heard about Mr. Millan's extraordinary ability with dogs, Mr. Minors recently travelled to the US to attend a special seminar hosted by the legendary "Dog Whisperer" and hopes to lure the canine legend to Bermuda in the New Year to perhaps help local dog owners with their dogs' quirky traits.
