A 24-year-old man was disqualified from driving for a year after pleading guilty to driving while impaired.

Marcin Witold Obal, of Hamilton Parish, was arrested on July 18 at about 2.50 a.m. when Police noticed that he was unstable while riding. Police pulled Obal over and asked him if he had consumed any alcohol. Obal replied ?not too much?.

Magistrate Edward King fined Obal $1,000 in addition to his 12-month ban.
