Just ten minutes into the New Year, Police were called to a breaking and entering at a Harbour Road, Paget residence.

When they arrived at the residence at 12.10 a.m. on Thursday the complainant told officers someone had broken into a cottage on the property sometime between 8.45 p.m. and 11.45 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The thief stole $200 in cash.

Inquiries into the incident are underway.
