Electricity restoration effort continues
Belco hoped to have less than 3,000 homes without power by last night.
By early Wednesday, 3,600 out of 25,000 domestic customers were without power, but the company was shooting for 2,900 last night.
Spokeswoman Linda Wilson-Smith said last night: "We are beginning to move into a phase where most of the larger widespread outages have been addressed and as we complete these, we are then reassembling teams to go into areas and blitz small outages."

Paget Island (restored); Ferry Reach (restored); Emily's Bay (scheduled for today); Zuill's Park (partial yesterday - continue today); Radnor Road (expect yesterday); Wilderness (to continue);
Shell Point (restored); Commonland Point (restored); Whitney Avenue (today); Spanish Point/Admiralty/North Shore (to continue - beginning of blitz); Ardsheal Drive/Bellevue Lane (restored); Clark Lane (restored); Harvey Road (restored); Prospect (to continue - beginning of blitz);
Frog Lane/Montpelier (restored); Devon Springs (restored); Seabright Avenue (possibly restored last night); Brighton Lane (restored); Paddock Drive/Lane (restored); Somerset Railway Trail (scheduled for today); Bob's Valley (restored); Warwick Lane (to continue);
