Free Phone forwarding service
The Bermuda Telephone Company (BTC) is offering customers without phone service the option to forward their home telephone to a working cell phone for free to help get them through this difficult period. Interested customers should call 611.
Church help centre
Marsden First United Methodist Church, 151 South Road, Smith's, is serving as a help centre for anyone in need.
Anyone requiring meals or other special needs can call the church at 293-8422 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.. The service will run at least until Saturday, September 20.
Mail delivery delays
The public is asked to be patient as there may be delays in the delivery of mail. All mail is being managed through the main Post Office in Hamilton as the Airport Mail Facility was severely damaged in Fabian. All stored mail had been relocated from the airport prior to the storm.
Propane gas
Bermuda Gas has re-opened its propane gas pumping station. Workers at the Serpentine Road station can refill barbecue gas cylinders and from this afternoon cylinders will be available at the East Broadway, Robinson's, Village Gate and Paget Shell service stations.
Schools
Bermuda High School for Girls will be re-opening on Monday.
Headmaster Roy Napier said the school suffered roof damage and that the repairs were almost complete.
Bermuda Institute students
Bermuda Institute students are advised that school will go in on Thursday and students are asked to wear their gym shirts instead of the full uniform.
Saltus will reopen on Monday, September 15. P1 students at Saltus Cavendish should be at school at 9 a.m. and enter via Christchurch Road. Parents can park on the field.
Students in P2 and P3 should report for 8.30 entering at Christchurch Road.
Cavendish, as of September 10, had no power. Parents should listen for media announcements on Saturday to be appraised whether the school's opening needs further delay.
Saltus Junior school students should report to school at the St. John's Road entrance.
Saltus Senior School students in the first three years should assemble in the gym at 8.30. Students in senior 4 and 5 should report to the gym at 9.30 and those in the Graduate Year Programme will have been contacted individually.
Warwick Academy will re-open on Monday if the school has power.
Transport restriction
Heavy classes of vehicles will be restricted from using the Causeway after 7.30 p.m. as work is being carried out.

The Public Transportation Board regrets that bus routes 1,3 and 5 are not in operation due to limited accessibility.
There is also no service across the Causeway to the airport.

Paget/Warwick as per regular schedule cancelling the 9.45 p.m and 10.15 runs.
Rockaway: departures from Roackaway in the morning at 7.25; 7.55; 8.55 and returns from Hamilton in the evening at 5; 5.30; 6; 6.30 & 7.
Hamilton/Dockyard: departures every hour on the hour from Hamilton begining at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. and departures from Dockyard every hour on the half hour beginning at 9.30 a.m. and ending at 4.30 p.m.
Hamilton/St. George's/ Marginal Wharf: departs Hamilton for St George's at 6.15 a.m.; 10 a.m.; 1 p.m. and 4.45 p.m. and departs Hamilton for St. David's at 4.45 p.m.

Around the town notices
The School of Russian Ballet will not be holding any children's classes this week because of the power outage.
They will however be holding a class at 5.30 p.m. for any students over 12, who would like to come.
If more information is needed then they can either telephone 295-8621 or 293-4147.
The St. John's Youth Choir registration and rehearsal will take place as scheduled at the church on Friday.
Patrons of The Harbour Front restaurant are being advised that although repairs are being carried out, they are open.
The Bermuda National Gallery has postponed its Gala Fundraiser until next spring.
The event, Rodeo to Rodeo Drive, was set to take place on October 3 at the Mid Ocean's Beach Lawn.
The exact date will be announced later.
