Summer will go out with a bang this year as the Chamber of Commerce plans to end the season with the best Harbour Night street festival yet.

Complimenting the start of the Bermuda Jazz Festival weekend, the grand finale of Harbour Nights, the weekly Front Street festival which is now in its eleventh year, will end on a high note with Gombey dancers and fireworks tomorrow night.

Beginning at 7 p.m. with the Saltus Jazz Band and finishing with the Jazz Trio (James Richardson Trio), there will also be a PRIDE youth skit, a National Drug Commission presentation and a Youth Star Talent Showcase. There will be speeches by the Mayor of Hamilton, Chamber of Commerce president Charles Gosling and representatives from the Bank of Bermuda and Department of Tourism.

MC for the evening is Bank of Bermuda's media relations manager Karen Madeioros.

"It is a wonderful community event where visitors and locals can mingle and experience the diverse culture that Bermuda has to offer," she said.

Chamber of Commerce executive vice president Diane Gordon extended thanks to the Bank of Bermuda, Department of Tourism and the Department of Cultural Affairs for their sponsorship of Harbour Nights.
