A man pleaded guilty in Magistrates? Court yesterday to stealing three packages of meat from a Pembroke grocery store and was fined $500.

Harry Maxwell Smith, 50, of St. John?s Road, Pembroke entered Arnold?s Grocery Store on October 25 and headed towards the meat section. Smith was seen putting hiding the three packages, containing two slices of meat each, into his clothing.
