Flight diverted after passenger reveals all

An executive jet had to be specially flown to Bermuda to pick up a Swedish man who was reportedly thrown off a charter flight diverted here after he showed his penis to other passengers.

Honorary Swedish Consul Jens Juul said he was called to the Bermuda International Airport at about 11 p.m. last Tuesday night after a German Condor charter flight carrying 250 people was diverted to Bermuda en route to Stockholm from the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Juul said the flight landed because another passenger was experiencing heart trouble. However the decision was made to throw the 52-year-old man and his girlfriend off as well for what he called "bad behaviour".

The person suffering heart trouble was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, while Police met the Swedish man. He and his girlfriend ended up spending several days at the Grotto Bay Hotel (Mr. Juul said they paid the bill for their stay) until Saturday.

On Saturday, he explained, Condor flew an executive jet to Bermuda from the Dominican Republic just to pick the couple up and transfer them back to the Caribbean island, where they were expected to catch a Condor charter flight to Stockholm on Sunday.

A spokeswoman for the Apollo travel agency told Ananova.com: "Early on in the flight the couple had been smoking in the cabin and in the toilets. The pilot had given them several warnings."
