The former Masterworks Gallery on Front Street could be converted into a restaurant, according to plans submitted to the Department of Planning.

Restaurant Development Ltd. is proposing that the space on 95 Front Street be converted into a restaurant in an application filed on June 6.

The Gosling family rented the space to the gallery up until six months ago.

Masterworks has since relocated to the Botanical Gardens.

Charles Gosling and Malcolm Gosling are currently off the Island and could not be reached for comment.
