Fuel prices jump

The price of fuel increased again with the Ministry of Finance announcing a price hike effective yesterday.
Gasoline costs went up by 7.3 cents per litre, diesel by 1.7 cents per litre and kerosene by 3.3 cents per litre.
As a consequence, Government said the maximum retail prices displayed at the pumps are:
? Gasoline $6.69 per US gallon.
? Diesel $5.60 per US gallon.
? Kerosene $4.73 per gallon.
In January 2005, the price of gasoline was $5.37 per gallon, diesel cost $4.57 and kerosene cost $3.68 per gallon.
