Temporary garbage collection points have been set up because normal collections cannot continue.

Trash left on roads for collection must be taken to the alternative sites at: Penno's Wharf, St. George's; St. David's Primary School field; Shelly Bay Beach parking lot; Harrington Sound School lower level parking lot; parking lot at St. Paul's Church, Paget; Southampton Rangers Club west of the clubhouse; Death Valley Playground, Southampton; Royal Naval Field, Somerset; and Boaz Island field, opposite Esso service station.

They will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and householders are asked to bring the garbage in trash bags not paper bags and to hand it to garbage collectors rather than drop it off.
