Go Antonio go!
Here are the good luck messages received readers sent to The Royal Gazette for Antonio Pierce. They will be forwarded to his father, Cleo Burrows, on the eve of Super Bowl XLII:
Antonio kick some butt. My name is Albert, my team is the Redskins. Sorry skins did not keep you. I'm married to a Bermudian. The family name is Simmons. The family lives in Somerset on Bobs Valley Lane. Go Giants.
Go Giants. It's time for N.Y and all Giant fans around the world to have the victory. Proud of the way the team has been playing. Best wishes to all. – Oz Carrasquilllo. Born in NYC. Living in Vancouver B.C.
I've been a Giants fan for a few years after I decided to pick an NFL to regularly support. I was and still am a big fan of Michael Strahan and love watching Antonio Pierce's road to the Super Bowl and a chance of ruining a perfect season. I made a few bets on the Giants with friends at the beginning of the season and in the playoffs with the hope they'd come good this season and thank God they have. What a season regardless of whether or not they win. I refuse to bet on the Super Bowl, the enjoyment of a W for the Giants will be just enough — more than money could buy. — Tiago Garcia
Go Big Blue! You can do it just keep your wits about you and get it done. A long time Giants Fan, Pam De Costa
Go Blue!!!!
Good Luck to #58 Antonio and the entire NY Giants Team. I have enjoyed watching your games all season and wish you good luck in the Super Bowl.

Good Luck Antonio,
I am rooting for you and the NY Giants. I am very proud of you. I'm sure Aquil would have loved to see you play. I remember the good times when you two were in summer camp together. I'm glad you remained friends and invited him to visit you. Give me a call when you settle down.
Aquil Richardson's Mom,
Shahidah Abdur-Rahim
Congratulations galore. God Bless You.

I just wanted to share my thoughts surrounding the excitement of Mr. Antonio Pierce and his participation in the Super Bowl. I must admit, I have never followed American football. However, since learning of Antonio Pierce playing for the Giants, I am ecstatic that a Bermudian will be participating in such a prestigious event. Although I don't know Antonio and had never heard of him before, I am so proud of his accomplishments and wish him all the best in his career. What an honour for Antonio and Bermuda!!! His achievement is exemplary and there is no question that I will be supporting Antonio and the Giants.
Best Wishes,
A New Spectator to the Sport
Antonio,
I will be behind you 100%. You guys CAN do it. Hit them with all you got and
shake them up. I don't think the Patriots realise what a good team the Giants
are. You have already made many Bermudians proud. All the best mate. KICK SOME ASS!

I know how proud all of Bermuda is to have you as such an integral part of the New York Giants and particularly that important Defence. I am an Ole Miss graduate and have a long history with the Manning family, having watched Eli throughout his college career.
My wife and I both wish your team and both you and Eli all the best in the upcoming Super Bowl. Tell Eli "Hotty Totty".
Don Jones, Ole Miss 1966
Our family in British Columbia have been following the New York Giants' games and are proud to see a fellow Bermudian included in this great team!
Go "Giants" and Antonio!

Hi Antonio Pierce,
I don't know you personally but I know Mr. Reginald Burrows (former M.P.) and I was hoping that the Giants would make the Super Bowl and you playing. I wish you all the best, Win it and be M.V.P.
Albert Fox.
Wish you all luck in the world and I am so proud of you and more so because you have Bermudian blood flowing through you.
Good Luck,

I am living in Florida and we are gearing up for the huge event. I will be watching my family (Bermudian family) in the game.
Ms. Cleckley
Now I can sit back and watch a Bermudian kick the ball. Now I can have a Super Bowl Party like they do all over America. Way to go Mate!

You go, young man. Good luck to you.

Who loves Bermy
As Bermudians living abroad in New York for many years now, We are exceptionally delighted to see Antonio and the Giants make it to the Superbowl. Although we don't know Antonio personally, we feel well connected to him and hope he and the entire team feel the love on February 3rd. It definitely makes us feel proud and at the end of the day knowing he is Bermudian and will represent in a positive way. What a fine example to lead by... There will be no greater feeling then when the Giants win the Superbowl XLII.
Regards,
Craig & Alice Curtis
Bermudians in the "Big Apple"
Antonio, congratulations to you and the NY Giants for making it to the Super Bowl. I have been watching your team with interest this year and am proud of you all. We all look forward to a great game and I'll be rooting for you. Best wishes,
Rhonda Lewis
It is always great and gives one a good feeling when one sees one who is born on the Island of Bermuda and who was fortunate enough to be brought to the U. S. A and permitted to excel as a human being. Just think he could have been left in Bermuda with his Father and ended up sitting on a WALL. I am sure that there are thousands of Bermudians who made the decision or the decision was made for them to leave Bermuda that have done very well for themselves period. This would include both Black and White BERMUDIANS.
Go New York Giants, Go Antonio Pierce, Go the U.S.A.!!!
Anne & Mike
As a Bermudian who has lived in the United States of America for a number of years, I enthusiastically offer my best wishes to Mr. Pierce and the New York Giants in their quest for a Super Bowl title on February 3rd. All of us as Bermudians should see this as another example that hard work and perseverance does pay off.

I am normally a 'dyed in the wool' Dan Marino fan and thus the Dolphins — who don't seem to have faired very well since Dan retired. However, ever since I found out that Antonio's father and family are Bermudians, I have been a loyal Fan of his and have watched every Giant game, pulling for them all the way, and they have won almost every game since I started watching! I am usually a very lucky person and perhaps some of my 'Luck' has rubbed off on them.
We in Bermuda are so proud of Antonio, not only because of his determination to do his best, but I see that he has a camp for young boys and is helping the footballers of the future to achieve their potential. I personally will be sending my 'vibes' for an upset win over the Patriots in the Superbowl and will be watching Antonio and his Defence team as they try to pull off the 'Biggest Underdog Win' in NFL history!
Cheers from Pat Barboza, Bermuda
