As the Opposition United Bermuda Party (UBP) takes the lead in educating the public about the Boundaries Commission report, Government is planning to hold forums of its own.

"I can confirm that Government is going to hold three public meetings and the dates will be announced shortly," said Cabinet Secretary John Drinkwater.

The ruling Progressive Labour Party (PLP) came in for some criticism at a public meeting this week, organised by the UBP, for failing to educate people on the Boundaries Commission report.

An audience of close to 60 people, many of them UBP supporters, showed up at the Town Hall of St. George's Wednesday night for the party's presentation on the Report.

"My understanding is that the Government will be holding forums," said Walter Roban, who is filling in as spokesperson for the ruling party.

"If they haven't been announced, they will be announced shortly. The party will take the initial lead from the Government and we will follow on from there."
