Motorists will soon be able to get their vehicles tested at a satellite TCD testing station in St. David's.

Bermuda Emissions Control Ltd., acting for the Ministry of Transport, was granted final Planning approval for the station on Andrew's Drive, Southside, St. George's, for the testing and inspection of vehicles before re-licensing.

However, the Development Applications Board (DAB) said prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Use and Occupancy Permit it must provide parking spaces for 28 cars.

The new satellite testing station will join another at the other end of the Island in Rockaway, Southampton which was Planning approved on January 3.
