A St. George's woman was charged with robbing a woman of $4,458 at Grotto Bay Beach Hotel using a machete and a knife.

Ayana Chantal Outerbridge, 23, who normally goes by her middle name, did not have to enter a plea as it is an indictable charge and she will return to Magistrates' Court on June 6.

The mother of two was granted $10,000 bail with two like sureties.

Outerbridge is jointly charged along with Tariq White, Jahkevon Outerbridge and Sydney Gibbons. Leigh Swann, a fifth defendant was charged the following day after being captured by police on Wednesday night.
