Help Centres have been organised by the Emergency Measures Organisation for people in desperate need of food, shelter, ice and water.

They will open at 10 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. "It is our hope that these HELP Centres stay open for as many days as is necessary," Bermuda Police said yesterday.

The HELP Centres are at the following locations :

- Salvation Army, White Hill, 57 Middle Road

- Salvation Army,15 Cambridge Road, Sandys

- Salvation Army, 6 Governors, St. Georges

- Salvation Army, Hamilton

- St. Georges Seventh Day Adventist Church

- Midland Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, Crawl Hill

- St. Luke's AME Church, St. David's
