New UBP Senator Kenneth Bascome is being sued by the Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) and will not say why.

A writ was filed in the Supreme Court of Bermuda on Septemebr 25 by the BHB. Since that time The Royal Gazette has tried to contact Mr. Bascome. He did not return calls. Finally The Royal Gazette managed to catch up with Sen. Bascome on Thursday but he flatly refused to talk about the suit or the reason the writ was lodged.

The BHB would not elaborate either.
