Island resort wins award
The Reefs hotel has been voted a top resort by Conde Nast Traveller readers.
?Each new award is more than a vote of confidence,? said Reefs owner David Dodwell, who received a Readers? Choice Award at a New York ceremony last week.
?It shows we are achieving what we set out to do ? providing a memorable vacation experience for our guests that is also good value.?
?The Reefs was the only Bermuda resort to receive this distinguished honour in the Atlantic region, which includes the 700 islands of the Bahamas and Bermuda,? according to a press statement sent out by the hotel.
The Reefs ranked third behind two larger Bahamian resorts, the One and Only Ocean Club in Paradise Island and the Four Seasons in Great Exuma.
In August, Travel and Leisure magazine readers ranked The Reefs number two in its ?World?s Best Hotel? list for the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas.
And the resort came in 58th place in the ?Top 100 World?s Best Hotel? list.
?The Travel and Leisure World?s Best Awards recognise the cream of the crop hotels around the globe in service, value, rooms and ambience,? the statement from The Reefs said.
