Created: Sep 02, 2005 11:00 AM
The Jamaican Association will be hosting its annual community picnic on Sunday at Shelly Bay Field. Despite the rain last year, more than 800 people attended and enjoyed the various Jamaican food offerings and board games. The picnic starts at noon and is expected to continue until about 10 p.m. President of the Association, Marlene J. Flynn-Simons, said it was not a fund-raising event and everything was provided to the community free of charge ? but donations are welcome.
