Jeopardy fans receive boost
World on Wireless (WOW) said fans of a television quiz-show Jeopardy ? which was missing from the airwaves for over a month ? can now tune in to them to see their favourite quiz show.
Bermuda CableVision has been unable to get the show since the start of 2006 due to the conversion from analog to digital transmission and satellite footprints. ?WOW is all about giving Bermudians excellent service and the kinds of programming choices that they want at great prices,? WOW general manager Dwight Denbrook said. ?We?re happy to be able to pick up the ball with regards to these two very popular shows. Our subscribers know they can count on us for great entertainment and we?d like to thank them for their continued loyal support.?
Mr. Denbrook said WOW featured the most popular North American and European networks, movies, sporting events, and local channels and WOW was the island?s only 100 percent digital wireless service provider.
More information on WOW?s services were available at No. 53 Church Street, Hamilton, or by e-mailing infowow.bm or by calling 292-1969.
