Q: I was a big fan of Frar, and I miss seeing Kelsey Grammer. What is he doing? — M.B.

A: He recently lent his voice to the forthcoming movie of The Simpsons, playing the character Sideshow Bob, which he'd played in the TV show. He also just signed to co-star with Patricia Heaton in a new series for Fox cad Action News, about the reunion of a news anchorman and anchorwoman; expect at least 13 episodes to start next fall.

Q: What is actor Al Pacino doing next? — N.F.

A: He stars in an upcoming drama called 88 Minutes, co-stars with George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Da in Ocean's Thirteen and has plans for several others: Dali & I: The Surreal Story, in which he portrays the famous artist Salvador Dali; thrama Torch, the story of singer Ruth Etting and bootlegger Moe Snyder in 1920s Chicago; and the crime drama <ififi.

Q: I'm a fan of singer Avril Lavigne. Is she going to make a new CD? — J.D.

A: She is; her next CD titled The Best Dam Thing, and is due for release next month.

Q: I saw a picture of actors Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon recently. Did they get back together? — K.G.

A: No. The picture you may have seen was of the two attending their daughter Ava's school play. They're determined to be civil for the benefit of their two children, but Phillippe has been seen out with various women since the split, and it doesn't look like a reunion is ine cs.

Q: When I was watching the Grammys, I saw John Mayer but not Jessica Simpson. Are they not going out any more? — K.V.

A: They are . . . and Simpson was in Los Angeles but skipped most of the well-publicised events. She did turn up at an after-party following a phone call from Mayer, and the two were affectionate in public. So, things seem to be goingll.

Q: Can you tell me what actor Benicio de Toro is doing? — M.J.

A: He co-stars with Halle Berry in the upcoming drama Things We Lost in the Fire, as revolutionary Ché Guevara in the uming drama Guerilla, as Guevara again in the story of the Cuban revolution The Argentine, and as a man transformed when he's bitten by a werewolf in therror remake The Wolfman. It begins production t fall.

Q: I think comedian Chris Rock is so funny. Is he making any more movies? — A.S.

A: He sure is. He stars in and directs I Think I Love My Wife, due out later this year; he joins Jerry Seinfeld, Renée Zellweger, Matthew Broderick and John Goodman as a character voice the animated Bee Movie; and joins another celebrated cast, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Stiller and Jada Pinkett Smith, voicing the animated sequel Madagascar 2. After that, he has plans to co-star with Eddie Murphy in an as-yet-untitled crime caper, star in a comedy about a low-income black family in Bevy Hills called The Gilmores of Beverly Hills, and possibly team up with David Spade in a comedy about three families competing forcampsite.

Q: I think actor James Denton is so handsome. Is he married? — N.T.

A: The heart-throb from Desperate Housewives is indeed married, and has been for four years, to fitness expert Erin O'Brien. Fortunately, his wife isn't too bothered that women flirtth him in public.

Q: Is the actress who plays Audrey goino be back on 24? — M.L.

A: Kim Raver, who had a fairly long run for a romantic interest of Jack Bauer's on 24, may at some point reappear . . . but the actress has been busy on other projects. She starred in tshort-lived series The Nine and is currently in production on a pilot for NBC called Lipstick Jungle, playing a powerful, glamorous New York City magazine editor.
