Labour leaders keen on running

Two more labour leaders are set to join the ruling party's slate of candidates for the upcoming elections.

George Scott, labour organiser, and Chris Furbert, the Bermuda Industrial Union's (BIU) vice president, are both reported to be interested in representing a constituency in Warwick. Mr. Scott is also the founder and principal shareholder of Advanced Tech Solutions, a company set up to provide dispatching software for the taxi industry.

He has indicated a desire to run in constituencies 27 or 28, otherwise known as Warwick North Central and Warwick West, while Mr. Furbert wants to run in number 28.
