A Pembroke man denied assaulting a Police officer, using threatening words and driving while disqualified in Magistrates' Court last week.

Vaughn Edwards, 32, denied all three charges which allegedly happened on February 22.

Crown counsel Wayne Caines said Edwards' threatening words were: "I'm going to get you punks."

Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves asked Edwards if he had anything to say.

Edwards replied: "It wasn't me."

Mr. Greaves set bail at $500 and a trial date for the threatening words and assault charges on March 17.

A March 15 trial date was set for the driving while disqualified charge.
