A man accused of fraudulently obtaining $60,000 from the Bank of Butterfield by deception pleaded not guilty on Monday.
Justin Denbrook is alleged by prosecutors to have pretended to a bank employee that he was authorised to access the cash by Bermuda Financial Network. No details were given during Denbrook's brief appearance before Magistrates' Court.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted $10,000 bail to the defendant of Tommy Fox Road, St. David's, ordering him to report to Hamilton Police Station once a week. Denbrook will go on trial on April 16.
