A man was chased from the scene of a breaking and entering at the weekend.

The suspect ? described as slim, black and 5ft 8in ? broke into a Middle Road, Devonshire home at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

He was spotted upstairs by a woman who lives there. He then fled the scene and was chased by her husband.
