Police were able to give few details yesterday on a knife attack which took place outside the Island Press building on Elliot Street.

Yesterday afternoon Police media spokesman Dwayne Caines said Police were still searching for the culprit

And he could not confirm if there was one suspect or two.

The incident, he said, took place at about 11.10 a.m.

The Royal Gazette understands the victim, who has not been unidentified, had stopped his car outside the Island Press building when he was set upon by at least one attacker wielding a knife.

The man suffered superficial injuries about his right eye, and a knife found at the scene was marked as evidence.

Officers at the scene yesterday morning said they were still investigating the incident and could offer no information as of yet to The Royal Gazette.

Mr. Caines said he was unable to offer more information later yesterday.
