The contract to install a sewage treatment facility at the new senior secondary school has been awarded to Max Environmental Solutions, owned by Opposition United Bermuda Party Maxwell Burgess.
Acting Works and Engineering Ministry Permanent Secretary David Brown said that the contract was worth more than $500,000 and a letter of award would be sent to the company this week.
Work is due to start shortly thereafter, Mr. Brown said.
Contract duration is 15 weeks and just two companies bid for the job.
Mr. Burgess is off the Island and was unavailable for comment.
