Works and Engineering Berkeley site manager David Butterfield is suing Mid-Ocean News editor Tim Hodgson.
The case is believed to be about an aspect of the paper's recent coverage about Berkeley. Last night Mr. Hodgson, who is named in the writ, referred questions about the case to lawyer Alan Dunch who could not be reached for comment.
The writ also names the Mid-Ocean's parent company the Royal Gazette Ltd. and its parent company Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. The Royal Gazette newspaper is also owned by the Royal Gazette Ltd.
