LIKE you I am thoroughly fed up with Brian Duperreault attempting to camouflage his involvement in what you accurately describe today as the "overscaled" and "overreaching" Southlands Resort. Hiding behind Bermudian front men like Craig Christensen and Nelson Hunt and failing to show up for photo opportunities with the visiting Jumeirah Group principals doesn't alter the fact it's the ACE Ltd. head honcho (and his money) that is fuelling this monstrous project, a project that will have ramifications for Bermuda going well beyond its obviously damaging environmental impact. Thanks for shining the spotlight on Duperreault. And hey, Brian, if you are actually reading this please explain to me how your participation in Southland can possibly be reconciled with the Jesuit principal of magis you claim to run your life by? "Magis", I know, is Latin for "more". But it's supposed to refer to what MORE you can do for God in terms of good deeds for our community, not how much MORE you can put away in your bank account!
