The recent spate of tool thefts continues with machinery swiped from a building site at the junction of Glebe Road and St. Monica?s Road, Pembroke overnight on Thursday.

Tools taken include a DeWalt sander, a Makita jackhammer, a green Myers pump, a DeWalt grinder, a DeWalt reciprocal saw, a DeWalt impact drill, a DeWalt regular saw and a DeWalt radio and battery charger.

Police say tools should be secured in a locked container or building at the end of the work day. They should also be marked with permanent marker and serial numbers written down and kept in a separate secure location so if they are later recovered, they are identifiable.
