Music Fest tickets selling well
Three-day ?premium reserved seating? passes for this year?s tenth annual Bermuda Music Festival?s are sold out.
This accounts for many of the overseas sales, while here in Bermuda ticket sales from Sound Stage have been steady, but not as exciting.
Tickets are being sold online for the first time this year from www.ticketweb.com, as well as from Sound Stage in Hamilton.
Sound Stage owner, Joe Lopes said so far only about 300 tickets have been sold from the store in the Washington Mall since July 11.
He said sales have been steady, which was good for them because they were working with the online system for the first time this year, but thinks the limited publicity could be to blame for slow sales.
However, online sales are booming and Mr. Lopes said he has been unable to secure any three-day passes for premium reserved seating in the last few weeks.
One-day general admission, three-day passes for general admission and reserved seating tickets are still available.
The power house line up of performers include Grammy Award winning artists, Patti LaBelle and Al Green, as well as soul divas Angie Stone and Joss Stone. The event, which takes place from October 6 to October 8 at the Royal Naval Dockyard, also includes a pre-show event taking place at the Fairmont Southampton on October 5.
