The Radisson Seven Seas Navigator arrived in Bermuda from New York yesterday on the first of 14 scheduled visits to the Island this season.

Tourism Minister Renee Webb, who waved off the ship from New York, said the 490-passenger liner was the type of up-market vessel the Island was trying to attract and a number of new shore excursions had been planned for the passengers.

Health Minister Nelson Bascome, Minister Without Portfolio Neletha Butterfield, Tourism Board chairman Delaey Robinson and assistant director of Tourism Deanna Wade were on board the initial voyage.

The ship will make seven-night round-trip voyages from different USports.

Passengers will spend two nights in Hamilton and a day in St. George's.
