A man was remanded in custody on Tuesday after he pleaded not guilty to breaking into a home.

Cyril Tucker, 60, of no fixed abode, told Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves that nothing had happened on the night in question, May 17.

"I did not break the door or the screen - I didn't break in," said Tucker.

After Crown counsel Shade Subair asked that he be remanded in custody, Tucker said: "She doesn't know me."

Mr. Greaves said: "Your wish is my command and I am not even going to keep you waiting."

Mr. Greaves remanded Tucker in custody and set the matter down for trial on June 23.
