Police were met with a barrage of missiles thrown by unknown individuals when they attended a report of wilful damage at a Pembroke residence on Tuesday night.

Around 9.20 p.m. Police received the report from a Fentons Drive homeowner.

The complainant stated that an unknown group of young men attempted to gain entry to his home, damaging a door in the process.

When Police arrived on the scene they were met with the barrage of missiles.

Inquiries are underway.
