Economic empowerment will be the main issue under discussion in the House of Assembly today, as the Opposition seek to move a motion on the urgent need for legislative initiatives in this increasingly important area.

The debate will be led by the Shadow Minister of Race Relations and Economic Empowerment David Dodwell. Proposed amendments to public ferry and bus fares are also on the parliamentary agenda.
