Pembroke man faces Supreme Court trial

A Pembroke man faces a Supreme Court trial for allegedly stealing money from a visitor?s room at Pompano Beach Club in January.
In Magistrates? Court yesterday, Frederick Gary Spence, 47, of Travellers Lane, was charged with breaking into a room at the Pompano Beach Club and stealing $250 cash and a pair of Adidas sneakers on January 9.
Spence was not required to enter a plea as he must appear in Supreme Court.
Crown counsel Paula Tyndale objected to bail.
However, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted Spence bail of $5,000 with one surety to reappear in court on March 22.
