The Development Applications Board has given American International Co. Limited (AIG) the green light to build a new six-storey office building.

The new offices are to be linked to AIG's present building at 29, Richmond Road by "an atrium link".

Construction is due to commence in July or August of this year, AIG's building manager Eric Robinson told The Royal Gazette.

OBM Architecture and Interior Design's executive officer Colin Campbell said the new structure would be erected on what is now the parking lot and that parking would be built on the roof and underground.
