A sexual assault was allegedly committed at a Pembroke residence early on Saturday morning, Police said yesterday.

Officers said they are searching for a culprit, described as approximately five foot eight inches, clean shaven and dark complexioned, in connection with the incident, which was reported to have happened at a house on Ingham Vale at around 2.30 a.m.

They asked anyone who might have seen an individual acting suspiciously on or around North Shore Road, Northcourt Road or Tablerock Avenue in Pembroke to call Hamilton CID on 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers hotline on 1-800-623-8477.
