Police appealing for witnesses into fatal crash
Police are still appealing for witnesses into the crash which claimed the life of Derek Caines, Jr. on Saturday.
The single-vehicle accident took place a few minutes before 6 a.m. on North Shore Road near Loyal Hill. According to Police, Mr. Caines appeared to have been travelling west in his grey Daihatsu Charade when he collided with a wall.
Police want to speak to a taxi driver who dropped off a young man in the Mission Lane, Pembroke area around 3.50 on Saturday morning.
They are also interested in contacting a female friend, possibly from Loyal Hill, who may have been out with him earlier in the evening or any friends who travelled with him into Hamilton at around 11 on Friday night.
