Police are appealing to the public to help them find 45-year old construction worker Herman Robinson.

Mr. Robinson, of Court Street, has been missing since last Friday. Police said he was last seen at the junction of Court and Angle Streets at around 7 p.m. on Friday, April 23.

He is described as a light skinned male, about 5ft 8in, weighing 190 pounds. He has slightly balding close black hair, a moustache and a goatee. Anyone knowing Mr. Robinson's whereabouts should contact Police on 295-0011.

KFC closed for week during renovations

No KFC for a whole week. For some this will be cause for alarm, while others may run to stock up on their favourite chicken or coleslaw. The Queen Street chicken haven will be closed from 10 p.m. on May 1 until 11 a.m. on May 10 to allow renovations to seating and kitchen areas.

The restaurant was originally going to be closed from April 26 to May 3 but shipping delays held up the renovations. The containers carrying the fittings and new furniture for the restaurant had not arrived on schedule, explained general manager Frank Suess.

Currently, one section of the seating in the restaurant is closed for renovations. The remainder of the restaurant will be open for business until 10 p.m. on Saturday.
