Police in appeal for witnesses
Police are asking for witnesses to come forward with information about a traffic accident on Langton Hill, Pembroke on Saturday evening.
The accident, involving a car and a motorcycle happened around 6 p.m.
The motorcycle was travelling east on Langton Hill when a car coming over the hill in an opposite direction came into the eastbound lane. The car struck the cycle causing the rider to fall to the ground.
The car, described as a newer model metallic blue Renault, failed to stop and the victim was taken to KEMH, treated and released. Anyone with information is asked to call P.c. Anderson Cumberbatch on 295-0011.
In a separate incident, Police are asking for witnesses to come forward with information about a traffic accident at the junction of Front Street and Spurling Hill, Pembroke on Friday night.
A dark metallic blue car was speeding in a westerly direction on Front Street when it collided with a 59-year-old Paget man riding a motorcycle at the junction of Spurling Hill.
The car failed to stop after the accident. Police are asking for anyone with information to call P.c. Cletus Cyris at 295-0011.
