A Devonshire man is in serious condition after he was found unconscious on the side of the road on Monday. The 47-year-old man was found at the corner of Happy Valley Road and Curving Avenue and was taken to the hospital. Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 7 to contact 299-4580.

Bakery break-in

A Pembroke Bakery had one of its computer monitors stolen over the weekend. Police report that The Bermuda Bakery on Pitts Bay Road was broken into some time between 6 p.m. on Friday and 10.45 a.m. on Sunday. A 15 inch Dell flat screen monitor was taken in the raid.

Guest homes targeted

Nearly $1,000 in cash was stolen from two guest properties at the weekend. Some $600 was stolen from a visitor's room at a Warwick guest home between 10.30 p.m. on Sunday and 6 a.m. on Monday. And $230 was stolen from the staff quarters of a Southampton guest home between 11.30 a.m. on Sunday and 2.30 a.m. on Monday.
