Two people are being questioned by Police in connection with the murder of a Bermudian man in Jamaica over the weekend.

Greg Daniels, 52, was attacked by a pair of men with machetes on Friday evening. Detective Constable Lloyd Broadie told The Royal Gazette that the pair pulled Mr. Daniels into a bushy area in his garden around 8 p.m.

They murdered him before stealing several thousand dollars in American currency from his house.

Mr. Daniels' Bermudian common-law wife Lucinda Washington saw the men and escaped the house with her ten-year old grandchild, driving to the Police station.

It took Police and locals more than three hours to find the body after the attack because the body was so well hidden in the undergrowth on the four-acre property.

Yesterday Detective Sergeant Paul Bernard of the Jamaican Police said two people had been brought in for questioning in the matter.
