Detectives are renewing their appeal for witnesses who may have seen the man who shot murdered Shaundae Jones in Dockyard two weeks ago.

They are looking for a tall black man, of thin build, who wore a face mask and a red shirt, jacket or top when he walked up to the silver MG where Mr. Jones was sitting with his friends at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, April 27.

The man was then seen running along the road behind the Clock Tower in Dockyard, towards the old Casemates Prison.

Shaundae, 20, a student at Bermuda College, had been to Club Malabar in Dockyard with his friends in the early hours of the day he died.

Moments after he was shot, his friends drove him to Port Royal Fire Station, where they were met by an ambulance, but Shaundae died of a bullet wound to the chest before reaching King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

His funeral service was held last Monday before he was laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Warwick.
