Former US Secretary of State Colin Powell was in and out of Bermuda yesterday speaking at a private function at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel.

Former Premier Sir John Swan, who formed a friendship with Secretary Powell during his years as Premier of Bermuda, said he did get to speak with the former US General. "He's doing well, keeping busy," he said.

Secretary Powell arrived in the morning and had already left by yesterday afternoon.
