Premier Alex Scott is off to London next week to attend the Overseas Territories Consultative Council meeting.
He will be accompanied by Attorney General Larry Mussenden and Cabinet Secretary John Drinkwater and returns later in the week, according to a Government statement.
On the agenda will be constitutional modernisation, disaster preparedness and other issues. And the Premier will introduce a session on sustainable development.
The OTCC was set up after the 1999 United Kingdom White Paper Partnership for Progress and Prosperity which laid the groundwork for future relations between Britain and her colonies.
