Premier's conference address to be broadcast on radio
Premier Alex Scott's opening address to the Progressive Labour Party's conference this year will be broadcast on the radio.
The annual conference, which starts on Monday at the Devonshire Recreation Club, is themed "Working for All Bermuda".
The public will also have an opportunity to participate through a round table discussion at Dellwood Middle School on Wednesday next week focusing on the conference theme.
"Panel members are a number of bright young Bermudians who will dialogue about their ideas and views about Government's direction during this new term in office," according to a PLP press statement.
Admission to the forum is free.
Michael Misick, Chief Minister of the Turks and Caicos, is slated to be the guest speaker at the conference banquet at Hamilton Princess on November 1.
"The party welcomes Chief Minister Misick and sees great significance in his visit with the close connections the Turks and Caicos Islands has with Bermuda as an Overseas Territory and through a history that dates back more than three centuries," the statement said.
