Lieutenant Colonel Edward Lamb grew up in Cashew City, St. David's. He was educated at Berkeley School and the Bermuda College and he volunteered for service in the Bermuda Regiment in 1980. He was commissioned as 1st Lieutenant in 1989 and subsequently posted as platoon commander for “B” Company. He served as Aide-de-Camp to Governor Lord Waddington between 1992 and 1994 and as Adjutant for the Regiment between 1997 and 2000. He is married with two sons.
