Filling up: This was the scene at Robinbsinson's marina at Somerset Bridge as Bermudians clamoured for gas last week Thursday.
People who lined the streets to fill up their cars, bikes and jerry cans with fuel during last Thursday's blackout saved a few cents ? because fuel prices went up on Friday.
The Ministry of Finance announced on Monday that it had approved increases of 22.95 cents per gallon for gas, 12.86 cents for diesel and 10.20 cents for kerosene.
The maximum prices allowed at gas stations across the Island now are $5.97 for gas, $5.12 for diesel and $4.20 for kerosene.
